Boston is a great city to learn English. It has a rich culture and history and boasts more colleges and schools than most other cities, meaning a multitude of great educational opportunities and hundreds of thousands of students. Newcomers often remark about how Boston is the perfect city to experience the true American lifestyle.

Boston varies from other American cities in that it offers a very diverse population with a whole assortment of interests. This is one of the reasons learning English can be so effective, because you get a taste of many different perspectives, which makes learning fun and interesting. You get to step outside of the English-language school box and pick up language tips from people in the community.

One of the most important parts of learning English is interacting with people who speak it. In Boston, there are people everywhere; it is a diverse population. This means you have a constant opportunity to practice your English with locals. And, as I'm sure you've experienced in your own language, there is a lot that can be picked up from casual conversation that isn't included in English language-learning classes.

There's a lot to do in Boston besides learning English. Though that may be the main reason for your visit, you'll find there are many fun things to do, from tours to museums, bars to nightlife, walks through the city to long drives through the suburbs. Plus, Boston is one of the oldest cities in the country so there's lots of opportunity to learn the historical background.

Boston is unique from many other cities. No where else will you be able to both interact with the community and enjoy the sight-seeing as much as you will in Massachusetts' capital. There are so many schools in Boston, which means thousands upon thousands of students from all different backgrounds and locations. Many of them stay, which makes Boston a diverse and culturally-rich city.
